 The Interlock Program

Teaching your 3- to 6-year-olds at home? You'll need a comprehensive game plan! Like interlocking pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, the "building blocks" of this 37-week curriculum integrate Scripture, social studies, science, language, arithmetic, music, art, and physical education to help youngsters examine their world from a biblical viewpoint. Kids learn through cross-curricular, hands-on activities centered on a common theme. (For instance, one day they might read Genesis 1:11--13; sing "He Plants Me Like a Seed"; pull weeds in the garden; and play the language arts game "Plant Concentration.")  Core Curriculum Volume 1

Volume 1 Resources: Day by Day Planner, Grades 7-12 Supplement

The program is designed so that any of the five volumes can be used for any number of students in K through 6th grades. Color-coded grade level divisions enable the parent/teacher to measure the academic progression of each child. It should take about one year to complete each volume. 

Comprehensive, age-appropriate lesson plans cover Bible, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Health, Safety, Field Trips, Vocabulary, Art, and Memory Verses, which are also used for Penmanship.

Volume 1: How do rocks, architecture, and your city tie together? Communication, sound, and eye care? Transportation, money, and war? Learn how to tie these subjects together in this first volume! Genesis Chapters 11-50 are covered.

 Core Curriculum Volume 2

Volume 2 Resources: Lesson Planner, Grades 7-12 Supplement

Written by a veteran homeschooling mother of three, and built on the solid foundation of God's Word, each installment of this widely trusted curriculum is jam-packed with everything you need to teach your children at home.

Volume 2: Learn how royalty, bacteria, and simple machines tie together, as well as Holidays, molds, and precious metals, plus elevation, earthquakes, and mountains! 

If you have the Volume 2 supplement, your junior and senior high school child will study royalty as you examine Moses' upbringing; miracles as Pharaoh's heart is continually hardened against God; leadership as Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt; and deserts as the Children of God wander aimlessly for forty years. Older child will also study the Lost Colony of Roanoke, the Albany Plan, and the House of Burgesses while your younger students touch on early U.S. history and the settlement of our country.

 Core Curriculum Volume 3

The program is designed so that any of the five volumes can be used for any number of students in K through 6th grades. Color-coded grade level divisions enable the parent/teacher to measure the academic progression of each child. It should take about one year to complete each volume.

Volume 3 covers the explorers, the five senses, ships, espionage, electricity, lions, calendars, tides, and caves.

Older students using the Volume 3 supplement will further their studies with lessons on exploration, espionage, and communication from the book of Joshua; they'll study American spies, forms of communication such as Morse code, and map-making. During a study of the book of Judges, your child will learn about the lives of early presidents, from George Washington to James Buchanan. The book of Ruth will lead your child through studies on family units, celebrations, and authority.

 Core Curriculum Volume 4

Volume 4 Resources: Day by Day Planner, Grades 7-12 Supplement

Volume 4 covers giants, map-making, space, wisdom, classification, cooking, the reconstruction of Jerusalem and the Industrial Revolution.

Older students using the Volume 4 supplement balance research reports with in-depth discussion on Bible themes such as physical and spiritual giants, slavery, stewardship, covenants, and ancient civilizations. Activities are designed to coincide with Weaver Volume 4 to keep children learning together.

 Core Curriculum Volume 5

Volume 5 Resources: Day by Day Lesson Planner, Grades 7-12 Supplement

The program is designed so that any of the five volumes can be used for any number of students in K through 6th grades. Color-coded grade level divisions enable the parent/teacher to measure the academic progression of each child. It should take about one year to complete each volume.

Volume 5 takes you through an in-depth study of the life of Christ through His resurrection. Learn about ancient Rome, follow the footsteps of Jesus as He preaches from town to town, and relive the miracles surrounding His life and death.

Your junior and senior high school children will enjoy research reports, individual questions, charts, and diagrams while using the Volume 5 supplement.

 Penmanship to Praise

Grades: K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, Manuscript

Penmanship to Praise is designed specifically to accompany The Weaver Curriculum; the goal of the series is not only to encourage penmanship worthy of praise, but to move towards an attitude of praise towards God through writing Scripture and applying the concepts.This first grade book is designed to be used for a 36-week period, and contains both practice and border sheets.

A brief introduction with teacher instructions, goals and lesson planning, memory verse selections and a penmanship model are included; the majority of the book is comprised of practice sheets labeled "Day 1, 2, etc...) and handwriting presentation sheets with a variety of borders. 346 pages, softcover, spiral-bound.  Wisdom Words

A sturdy grammar and writing backbone for your complete language arts curriculum! Designed to eliminate repetition, this step-by-step program helps teach solid language, penmanship, and composition skills using students' own daily writing. Incorporating strong oral presentation and color-coded to correspond with other Weaver volumes, it offers structured guidance for instruction from kindergarten to grade 6.  Success in Spelling

Levels (not grades): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Each Success in Spelling level is recommended for the grade above it (i.e. for grade 3, purchase level 2). This program is designed to help children obtain successful spelling techniques. It has been said that good spellers are born, but Weaver's Success in Spelling will disprove the adage! Good spellers are those who not only can memorize and remember how a word looks, but also the rules which apply to spelling.

 High Way to English Grammar

This teacher's manual accompanies the sold-separately High Way to English Grammar Student Text. Pages correspond with the student book for easy referencing of assignments, examples, and answers. A complete phonics reading program based on the Bible, 1-2-3 Read! begins with reading readiness. Eventually progressing to teaching recognition and sounds of the alphabet. Each letter of the alphabet is learned through rhyming songs and playing with an animal puppet.
